Who We Are

High Fives Charity is a nonprofit which “Advocates for Caregivers and the Seniors They Care For.” We specialize in training and stress management for Professional and Family Caregivers as well as Resource and Respite Options. We host a LIBRARY and partner with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Diabetes, ALS, Holistic Therapies, the Heart Assoc., and others to provide free literature, books, training and support from everything like “how to get the keys from Dad” to “how to cope before you lose hope,” or what products really work.

Information you would have to go to various places to get are all under one roof. We want to make it easier to get the help you don’t even know is available yet. For Seniors we offer Grants, Companion Care and many other services.

Caring for a senior loved one

Caring For An Aging Parent, Spouse, Friend or Neighbor is always a blessing and an honor but it can be stressful too. Injury or illness can occur overnight or over time and when you are always uncertain what the next day has in store for you it is hard to take care of yourself going a million miles a minute to catch up.

The National Family Caregiver Association (NFCA) has said this lifestyle can cause premature aging, taking up to ten years off your life. Statistics show health issues for Caregivers often surpass those they take care of.

“We are an extension of your family” and have resources and support that make your life easier. We help you maneuver through an overload of information and an overwhelming decision process, without an agenda.

Some of our services include holistic therapies because sometimes all you should do is take a breath, and a break, and clear your head.

Our team provides help to individuals who need assistance caring for themselves, so they can take care of their loved ones.

We also cater our services to Seniors who don’t have enough help. Many of these loved ones are in unsafe situations where they feel alone. Our aim is to remove those feelings and add positive emotions into the flow of their lives.

We provide Companion Care, engaging events at our facility or from the comfort of home, Home Safety Evaluations and small repairs, Pen Pals, Home Check in Calls, Respite options and Resources you didn’t know were available.

Our goal here is to provide joy and someone or something to look forward to.
